Peaceful Lake District Bed and Breakfast set in beautiful open countryside in the tiny hamlet of Garth Row, 3 miles from Kendal town centre and just off the A6. We have 2 Double rooms with 1 flexible room on the Ground Floor which can be configured as a Double, Triple or Family room. Both are fully en-suite and enjoy lovely views of either our large gardens or hills and fells in the distance. Both rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and digital TV. Hollin Root Farm is a great base from which to relax and explore the Lake District ( Lake Windermere is only 8 miles away ) or even the Yorkshire Dales. We are popular as as stopover between England and Scotland too.

PLEASE NOTE:Childrens hours in our pool are 10-12noon and 2-4pm. Fitness & Leisure Club Refurbishment 3rd March until 9th May 2008During the period from 3rd March until 30th April our Fitness and Leisure Club is undergoing a programme of refurbishment. This involves upgrading the pool and poolside area and moving the steam room to allow us to extend the changing rooms. Due to the extensive nature of the refurbishment we have decided to close the Fitness & Leisure Club for the duration of the work.If you require further information please contact me at the Hotel.
