Theresa is coeliac and has her own part of the kitchen that is strictly Gluten Free only. Leonard's Field is the ideal place to 'chill out' in peace and quiet (we are located on a quieter street), yet still within easy reach of the many walks and attractions of Keswick and the surrounding area. We are 2 minutes level walking from the centre of Keswick and approx 10 minutes from Lake Derwentwater and the legendary Theatre by the Lake. We have lock-up facilities for bikes and a secure off road area for motorbikes.

Our delightful Victorian home, carefully and faithfully restored to capture its original charm and character, is set in a quiet residential street, only a few minutes walk from Keswick town centre and all its amenities. A ten minute stroll will take you to the breath taking shores of Derwentwater, 'The Queen of the Lakes'. Our aim is to ensure you have an enjoyable, comfortable and rememberable stay. We offer a warm welcome, in pleasurable surroundings, with open fires and a friendly reception.

Swinside Lodge Hotel is a small luxury hotel with seven rooms, personally run by owners Mike and Kath Bilton. Set in the heart of the beautiful English Lake District at the foot of the mountains and yet within easy access to Keswick, the hotel is a haven of peace and tranquillity. Wildlife, including red squirrels, can be seen in the gardens. Four course dinner is served each evening, complemented by an extensive wine list, earning the hotel a prestigious two AA Rosettes. Other recent awards are Lakeland hotel of the Year: Good Hotel Guide, and Small Hotel of the Year: Cumbria Tourism. All rooms are ensuite, individually designed and maintained to a high standard. Swinside Lodge is ideal for walkers, with many breathtaking walks starting from the door. Bawd Hall is a luxury country house in the Lake District available for self-catering letting all the year round. "Emily’s Escape" is a beautiful traditional detached cottage, idyllically located at the end of a quiet no-through road within the delightful village of Braithwaite.

Small village store, restaurant and cosy traditional Lakeland pubs offering real ales and excellent food, all within 2 minute’s walk.

Newly added porch, enclosed garden with magnificent Skiddaw mountain views. Various fell walks on doorstep and lake close by.
