Hillsdale is a family run B and B situated in a quiet location in the heart of Ambleside.
All rooms are en-suite with shower and our bedrooms are clean and stylish.We offer a warm and friendly stay.
We serve a hearty English or vegetarian breakfast.We also have grapefruit segments, prunes, raisins, cranberries, yoghurt, fruit juice and cereals.
Restaurants, shops and pubs are a minute’s walk away. All rooms have flat screen LCD TV's.
For that special break, we have a large bay fronted room with king size bed.
We have parking available (please ask) and we offer complimentary wi-fi.

Rockside was built in 1847 using traditional lakeland stone,it is a querky property which is full of character and charm. The en suite rooms are modern and have been individually styled to provide all your modern day comforts, along with retaining many of Rockside original Victorian features.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and at Rockside we give it the justice it deserves, we have a range of options to cater for all tastes, from a more substantial full breakfast to lighter bites and Vegetarian alternatives. All made with quality produce and served with our delicious homemade jams and award winning marmalade.
Home baking is an important part of Rockside with regular homebaked biscuits to welcome you. Along with homemade yoghurt, fruit compote and a speciality bread awaiting you each day on the breakfast buffet we certainly like to offer something a little bit different.

Kenilworth is a grand 4 star Victorian Guest House built in 1896 and is centrally located in the town of Windermere, a short walk to the local shops, cafes and restaurants.
Many period features have been retained, but under our ownership all of the rooms have been refurbished and redecorated to offer very warm and welcoming bed and breakfast accommodation.

Our hearty breakfasts are cooked to order and include locally made Cumberland sausage and free-range eggs delivered from the local farm. We do of course serve lighter or vegetarian alternatives, and all meat and non-meat items are cooked and served separately. There is a selection of cereals to choose from as well as grapefruit, fruit juice and fresh toast, with a plentiful supply of tea, coffee or herbal infusions.
We have some private off-road parking and there is ample free parking on Holly Road. Even without your own transport, getting around the Lake District is straightforward using Kenilworth Guest House as your base, and mini-bus tours can be arranged to collect you from the door.
For everyone's safety and comfort we are a completely non-smoking guest house.

The Craig Manor Hotel nestles on the brow of a hill overlooking Lake Windermere, Langdale Pikes and surrounding mountains in the English Lake District.
