Cedar Manor Hotel & Restaurant is located on the outskirts of Windermere in the heart of the Lake District. Built in 1854 as a private country retreat, the hotel now provides comfortable accommodation for those wishing to relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery, wonderful walks and wealth of leisure facilities Windermere and the Lake District National Park have to offer. Set in mature walled gardens dominated by the 200 year-old cedar tree, the hotel feels peaceful and secluded, yet is just a short stroll away from the shores of Lake Windermere and the centre of Windermere village. Room 5 enjoys morning sunshine and the six foot bed can be altered into twin beds. Whichever room you choose they are all fitted with, flat screen televisions, Bose music systems, internet connection and a selection of current monthly lifestyle magazines. Traditional Lakeland Guest House only a few minutes walk from Windermere village and railway station. ALL ROOMS NON-SMOKING. Ten minutes walk to Lake Windermere through pretty, county lane. Pleasant, twenty minute walk to viewpoint looking over the lake and mountains. Serving typical English breakfast plus cereals, fruit, yoghurt and vegetarian sausage. Various restaurants and shops close by. Ample private parking. Check out is 10.30am. Sorry, only children over 10 years old accepted and the full adult rate will be charged.
