Whether staying on holiday or on business, one of our extensive range of rooms will meet with your requirements. From single or twin rooms with standard facilities to double or family en-suite rooms. All our rooms are centrally heated and have TV, tea/coffee making facilities and are furnished and decorated to the highest of standard. Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We are a non smoking establishment. We also have our own car park.We are within walking distance of Kendal Town Centre with plenty of places to eat. Also easy access to the Brewery Arts Centre which attracts great Bbands and Theatre. Also the Abbott Hall Art Gallery which has many top exhibitions. Sundial Guest House is within easy travelling distance of the Lake District including all the Beatrix Potter attractions. We are also easy travelling distance of the Yorkshire Dales.

In the 17th Century, Keswick was the crossroads for many of the horse and carriage routes which traversed this part of the English Lake District. Bank House is a large beautiful period house with original terraced gardens, which enjoys magnificent views over the town to the Lakedistrict beyond. Rooms are large and beautifully decorated. and ensuites where possible are roomy and all have double sized showers . In the morning from your period dining room you can enjoy an absolutely excellently and imaginatively cooked breakfast with several home baked breads for you to choose from. An absolutely fresh fruit salad prepared that morning and freshly squeezed orange juice, followed by a main breakfast from a large choice including several vegetarian options. Food is sourced locally and we have a wide selection of local jams chutneys and sauces some award winning.All rooms have TV/DVD and we have a large selection of DVD sfor you to borrow free of charge which we try to update regularly. Bank House is a NON smoking residence through out the house. You are not permitted to smoke on the premises or in your room.

These fantastic rooms include all of or most of the following: 32 to 42-inch LCD TVs, goose down duvets with pure cotton sheets, air spare baths, 17-inch mirrored TVs in bathrooms, DVD recorders, iPod docking stations, designer Villeroy and Boch bathrooms, mood lighting in showers, heated tiled floors in bathrooms, bathrobes, quality towels and accessories and much more. The hotel also offers a fantastic locally sourced breakfast using the finest produce, along with free use of leisure facilities located 200 metres away. Free parking available for up to 12 vehicles. The Cranleigh is licensed to sell quality wines, champagnes and locally brewed award-winning beers. Please note there is a strict non-smoking policy throughout The Cranleigh. Some of the standard older rooms are located in the annexe building on the same site. Standard rooms are due for refurbishment in 2008. Please note we have a mininmum two night stay at weekeds.
