The Log House is a historic Norwegian log cabin in Ambleside, the heart of the English Lake District.Originally brought to the Lake District by Artist Alfred Heaton Cooper nearly 100 years ago as a home and studio. The Log House now serves as a restaurant and bar with three luxury bedrooms.

The Red Lion is a traditional 15th century coaching inn, situated in the pictureesque village of Hawkshead, in the Lake District national Park. 8 en-suite bedrooms, and a bar which is mixed with the traditional and modern. Car parking is available at our Inn.

Centrally located in the heart of the popular market town of Keswick, Sweeneys offers an ideal base from which to explore the spectacular Northern Lakes.
